It's not about choosing to kill a child over experiencing trauma. It's about giving the pregnant person the autonomy to make a decision about their body and life circumstances. For instance, consider a situation where someone is living in extreme poverty and cannot afford to raise a child. In this case, continuing the pregnancy may perpetuate a cycle of poverty and suffering for both the parent and the child.

Instead of focusing on a black-and-white view, we should aim to find a common ground and work towards bettering social conditions, access to education, and healthcare, which would help decrease the number of unintended pregnancies and the demand for abortions. What are your thoughts on addressing these social issues as a way to reduce abortion rates?
