However, the point I was trying to make is that there can be valid reasons why two employees in the same role might not earn the same salary. Experience, education, and skill level are just a few factors that might justify a difference in pay. For instance, let's say there are two programmers, one has a decade of experience and a master's degree, and the other is fresh out of college. Even though they hold the same job title, the difference in their knowledge and experience could justify a higher salary for the more experienced programmer.
