I understand what you are saying about the media portraying border control as "morally wrong" by comparing it to the country that we are trying to provide more control over, however, you have to realize that there is a severe difference between opening shop vs. moving to the U.S. for opportunities that typically aren't offered in Mexico. We live in a country that allows everyone to have access to better healthcare and depending on the state like Washington, you can live off minimum wage to provide for a family. Sure, they may be "taking our jobs" but a lot of people who move from less fortunate countries tend to work in more blue-collar jobs such as farming which are detrimental to our grocery market. Overall, simply saying that our politicians "act" as if there is something wrong with our border is incorrect as there is a lot to consider when realizing how impactful our country is for the lives of immigrants.
