The first rally, the "March For Israel," is being organized by the Jewish Federations of North America and will begin shortly before noon, according to a permit filed with the National Park Service.
The permit states that it is expected to bring up to 60,000 people Washington to "show solidarity and support for Israel and the Israeli People" amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war in the wake of Hamas' Oct. 7 terror attack, in which the extremists are believed to have also taken more than 200 captives.
"March to free the hostages. March against antisemitism. March for peace," organizers posted on X on Monday.
Lawmakers are set to speak, too, according to the permit.

I believe that Hamas retaliated against the Israelis in a tortuous and brutal way. However, I support Palestine's sovereignty and the existence of both Israel and Palestine as brothers in a unified strip of land that both have rightful possession of.

This would be nice but based on every single peace for land offering (Palestinian Statehood) to the palestinians being denied (and answered with more war, terror and desire to eliminate Israel entirely) its not likely that would happen. Arabs make up 20% of the Israeli population, vote in elections are members in the Knesset (Israeli Parliament) and there are even Arab/Muslim Supreme Court Justices in Israel, How many Jews/Israelis hold similar status in Arab lands? Zero.

Too many citizens of the U.S.A. believe that citizens of Palestine support their own government's beliefs, and while some, there are many that don't agree with their government. Many Palestinians feel targeted. We need to think of everyone.
