Sometimes they can, in all technicality, certain spiritual beliefs can be taken as a conspiracy theory.

They can be harmless and even promote critical thinking, but dangerous misinformed conspiracy theories such as QAnon are entirely hurtful.
In some way I can see it see it as a positive for the individual who believes it.
