Certain issues are more important to some voters than others. Abortion itself shouldn't completely overshadow everything, as it is important to consider all issues to educate the electorate, but abortion should be a topic widely covered during elections, especially considering how divided our elected officials are on the matter.

I think that currently in our time, this is a huge problem. This is taking away women's rights, which we only started getting about 100 years ago. It should not be up to the government or any other person for that matter. It should be up to the one who has the uterus that wants an abortion.

Well i think it’s fine it gains more traction than other issues as it affects the life of allot of people in a very direct way compared to other issues

No, while abortion is an important social issue, there are many more underlying issues that are more relevant topics during elections.
