Seeing a group of people standing up to their beliefs shows me the strength they have to fight. It impacted me by showing me to stand up for what’s wrong and make it right.

The Al-Qeada when they took down the twin towers. They killed a lot of people and ruined a lot of families which make me very sad.

Al Qeada is a group that did something awful in support of one of their beliefs that I disagree with

BLM felt wronged by George Floyd's death along with others, and they let their anger out in an unacceptable manner. The downtown of where I live was burned and partially destroyed because of BLM riots.

I don’t think it is appropriate to hold an entire movement accountable for the specific actions of few. Much like how all police are not bad because of Floyd’s death neither is BLM bad. I think greater understanding is needed on both sides

The BLM protests of 2020 moved me. It showed how much a minority group in the U.S is still struggling economically and socially within the nation. I don't condone the violence that took place in major cities because two wrongs don't make a right but there were a majority of peaceful protests some of which they locked arms with law enforcement showing unity.

I see women who stand up for their rights all the time. It makes me feel empowered and like I want to speak out about various issues such as abortion or equal pay.
