How might advancements in technology change the way we perceive and value privacy?

We should give people privacy, and not be spying on them all the time. Technology is extremely valuable and useful, especially in situations where it would take a while to think of something. But it should be given every available opinion, with pros and cons of each opinion. After it makes a decision, that decision should only be used as a guideline or a suggestion. We are humans, the rulers of this planet. Therefore, we should be the ones making the decisions.
