I feel that the idea of becoming more solely reliant on technology for economic, environmental, and social progress is unrealistic. I feel that relying on technology too much will make people less competent in forming their own reasoning and following such core instincts as conscience. I feel that it also is more likely to create more social problems than solutions, as relying heavily on something as synthetic and unfeeling as technology will degrade diversity and community in human culture as we would be spending even less time interacting and forming connections and trying to determine solutions in the ways that have worked for mankind since the beginning of our history.
