This world is our one and only home, and if we damage and pollute its natural beauty further, we are sure to die with it. I enjoy nature, I respect the natural balance of nature, because we are not in charge of this planet. We live on it, and we must tend to the damage we have already done

I only agree because of the human element. Our planet is not what we need to worry about, it is our people. The earth would have no trouble with cleaning up our mess, it's cleaned up far worse, but we would be gone. We must stop climate change and the destruction of the environment for the sake of ourselves, so that we don't have to experience miserable deaths by heat stroke, or the terror of facing the most violent storms imaginable. Humanity and the creatures we live with are the only ones who need the concern.
