How can we as individuals support farmers and producers in developing countries from our own neighborhoods?

We can give them more funding to support these farmers & producers.

We should try to go to the farmers market before a large supermarket to directly support local farmers. Along with that, when the farmers markets are unavailable, supermarkets should purchase more from developing countries as long as they follow health codes and give their products a place in the eye of the American public.
