Yes and I learned to speak up for myself and others not matter what.

yes, i used to be left/democrat but found myself being labeled as a right wing republican simply because i don't believe in the current ideologies of the democratic party. i'm a progressive but too much of what the left wants, violates my rights as an individual and as a citizen of this country.
