He dreamed of an America where his children would be judged not by the colour of their skin, but by the content of their character. We need to stop viewing people as white or black or any other skin colour, but rather view them as people instead, full stop. We all breathe air and bleed blood, we are all the same species, and it is very regressive to write off someone else just because of the colour of their skin. It matters not if their race is supposedly privileged, you lose any credibility for your arguments if you believe that means they should be discriminated against because they are privileged, and ironically enough, that mentality is the textbook definition of racism.

MLK said WAY more than just that in his time. He himself was a democratic socialist, and said that capitalism has long since lost its need to be the dominant force in America. He also said that certain reforms would be necessary to ensure equality of all races that would FEEL like discrimination against white people, but would in the long term create the conditions necessary.
