even though we there used to be white privilege we have come a long way and dont have a segregated society anymore.

I think some people tend to struggle with understanding it because the majority of the population is White you won't see so much of it. Along with people tend to ignore it when there are situations like this and don't acknowledge it when it's happening around the world.
