To capture and preserve the wisdom of older generations within the context of "Elderly Interests," initiatives such as oral history projects, intergenerational dialogue, digital archiving, elderly education programs, community libraries and centers, collaborative research projects, artistic expression, and policy advocacy can be implemented.

Allow the elderly to have a greater hand in the school system, by perhaps offering opportunities for guest speakers based on the career of the old person in question and the expertise they can share on their career in regards to their triumphs and mistakes, what they would have done differently, and what they would advice the youth to do.
