How would you imagine the elderly or differently-abled individuals would be treated in a society where contributions are valued over capacity for labor?

Differently abled and elderly people can provide completely different skills than the abled, and even if they cannot work it is often not their fault and it is our responsibility as able-bodied and young people to work in their stead and help them live life as any person has the right to.

They would be honored if they gave a life of work. Except that's exactly how it goes right now and some people think old people should die so maybe we have to work on that.

They would be more valued in society and have more of a foot in the door

The elderly would live a lot better since they would have no chance in going into labor.
