Also, even if you believe God is not real, you capitalise the names fictional characters, like Darth Vader, and Santa Clause do you not? And yet, out of sheer disdain for religion and unwillingness to consider its arguments, you've decided not to capitalise "God" when you are indeed talking about the specific Christian God?
