Domestic Policy › Gun Control
9>9 Personal answerbecause it deals with the teacher having a gun nd depending on the teacher they could abuse it or if they arent paying attiention someone could take it and theres already to many school shootings so it would be best to keep it as no one should be able to have an weapon in school unless it has really really good reason to why- i say that because a lot of students can get bullied or picked on or even harassed in front of a staff member and it makes it worser for many who deal with bullying and some just dont get the meaning of “stop” or “ please leave me alone” until there life flashes in front of them its a sad truth but there isnt any really big help on it like yes there is ways to stop bullying but sueing or getting a restaint through our school isnt gonna work because theyll deiny it - it is also the fact that if you place the bully and the victim in a room togther itll may make it worse because when school is over and they leave they could still get hurt because there off schools property or its like as stated before no one stops this in time and not in a manner where both the bully+ there friends that may join in the harassment will be sepreated form the victim so.. If a teacher was to have a conceled weapon and lets say its in a safe lock box whats stopping the studenet form watching the teacher unlock it and knowing the code? Or what if the student pick locks the door open at this point and dig through the teachers desk or for full honesty on how they have things set up these days what if they find the password on the lockbox in a hidden conner? Or just when they find the password, you may think “ oh they wont find it-” thats where you need to stop thinking like that.. Yes itll be a struggle to open but when you get desprate you get desprate to make them stop because the victim themselfs are arleady half gone and they may think that if they dont stop them then they will surly end them one day because it could possibly get worse. Not all safes are not unbreakable but most are and all it takes is a simple th |
