You believe in promoting social justice and empowering the oppressed through faith-based activism and political involvement.
Liberation Theology is a political ideology that emerged in the late 20th century, primarily in Latin America, as a response to widespread poverty and social injustice. It is a movement within the Christian theology that interprets the teachings of Jesus Christ in relation to a liberation from unjust economic, political, or social conditions. It has been described as "an interpretation of Christian faith through the poor's suffering, their struggle and hope, and a critique of society and the Catholic faith and Christianity through the eyes of the poor."

How does the phrase 'justice for all' translate into daily actions in your own environment?
@9JK6RMH4mos4MO
I feel like this states everyone has the right for justice.
@9JK7B6S4mos4MO
i don't really understand the question but people don't get use like how they are supposed to
@9JK6HJL4mos4MO
Treating all equally (when it comes to social situations not personal ones)
@9JK6MZNIndependent4mos4MO
No matter what if you're wronged, illegally you should get justice.
@ISIDEWITH4mos4MO
How do acts of civil disobedience influence your perception of justice and equality?
@38MMGDQRepublican 4mos4MO
Civil disobedience is a way to expose problems with the justice system. People who civilly disobey are ready to deal with the consequences, such as prosecution, for a higher cause.
@9JK3QWT4mos4MO
Civil disobedience, committed by anyone, in high power or low power, should be treated evenly prosecuted.

What are the first steps you would suggest to someone looking to address inequity in their community?
@9KBCS5X3mos3MO
For starters, trying to make equal pay for women in their community, let them be able to get an abortion if they want as well, and I don’t know what else to add other than to just not discriminate or tolerate bullying.
@9KJDCPY3mos3MO
Don't argue against what someone believes in unless it is hurting someone or is not fair. Like if someone was a different religion or something you wouldn't get mad at them for it or treat them porrly.
@9KBBYQ4Republican3mos3MO
Right to fair Trail but ,Would let the public take a vote on the final decision
@ISIDEWITH2mos2MO
What is one thing you think your generation is getting right about tackling social problems?
@9LB9MGY2mos2MO
I think my generation has become more aware of mental health issues, along with poverty, which is an important issue.
@9LB5WG82mos2MO
I think we should be more equal over race and sexism
@ISIDEWITH4mos4MO
In your opinion, what's the most underrated way to contribute to positive change in society?
@9JK8GNT4mos4MO
Government should not use religious ethics or dogma to make decisions. Even if I agree with Liberation Theology's goals, I don't want to live in a country that codifies a Christian doctrine. If anything, they should use humanistic, secular values.
@9JKQKGP4mos4MO
With all respect given to every religion, Christianity should not be used to decide any matter of the state, and it is already sprinkled in into many government policies and politics. It is every hypocritical to criticize other countries who use religion in the government when we do the same. If the roles were flipped, US citizens would have an outcry.
@9JK5CVKPeace and Freedom4mos4MO
Mental health, being able to improve someone's mental health in today's society is an amazing and very underrated way to contribute.
@9JR5Z6J3mos3MO
I believe that mental health improvement is not a large focus of society and that many people overlook it when thinking of how we can make a positive change is society.
@9JK5KXC4mos4MO
get the homeless of the streets and ban drugs as well as weed
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
Do you think that people with more resources have an obligation to assist those without; why or why not?
@9K6GVYC3mos3MO
Human instinct is to give to others, to share, and to show empathy and understanding for those around you, our society teaches greed and selfishness and covers all of that up. If you are hoarding money, healthcare supplies, food, etc. when there are people around you suffering without a way to get out of that you should be doing what you can to help.
@9HGL7F75mos5MO
I think they do because if they have an oversurge they can spare.
@ISIDEWITH6mos6MO
How do you feel about using religious narratives as a framework for advocating social justice?
@9H8PWJG6mos6MO
I feel like religion shouldn't be part of social justice because it doesn't matter what religion even if you are Christian you still get to advocate politics.
@9H8NY8Y 6mos6MO
I don't think religious narratives should be necessary, but I support them if they are advocating for social justice, because often religion is used for the opposite purpose - to oppress those who do not align with their political beliefs.
@9H8P67C6mos6MO
I think that we should not do that because everyone has different religions.
@9H8QHMX 6mos6MO
We always have. The Constitution's moral framework is based heavily on that of the Bible, and a higher authority is the only way to establish an objective moral framework.
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
What role do you think spirituality should play in discussions about economic and social policies?
@9HGMZCZ5mos5MO
I think people need to really take a step back and self analyze and realize what we are doing in a situation and consider everybody's views and come together and create peace.
@ISIDEWITH4mos4MO
What actions do you think are most critical for creating a more equal and compassionate society?
@ISIDEWITH2mos2MO
If you were to mentor a younger student, what social values would you want to pass on?
@9KZ2Y5X2mos2MO
I would want to show the values of using your voice
i want to pass on more self-accountability and respect for others.
@ISIDEWITH4mos4MO
In what ways can young people influence older generations regarding social issues?
I hope that younger generations can be involved in the social issues that matter to them so that older generations might see us as a light in the darkness.
@9JBC8NL4mos4MO
to try and help them with what is best for us now days
@ISIDEWITH2mos2MO
How does the concept of equality manifest in your day-to-day life?
@9LBR3KV1mo1MO
I feel that we should all try our best to make sure that equality is occurring more often, but it is important to understand that not everything is, can, or should be equal.
@9LBQYLM1mo1MO
Depending on the situation there is a time in the day where it appears on a day to day basis. It doesn't happen in many situations.
